Cook County Foreclosure Auctions
Cook County holds its foreclosure auction at the courthouse at 212 North Hutchinson Avenue in Adel, on the first Tuesday of every month. Adel is both the county seat and the largest city, and Cook sits on I-75 between Tifton and Valdosta. Adel is a short drive off the interstate, and our Georgia auction guide is worth reading before the trip.

3536 Ga Highway 37, Adel, GA 31620-8143
A young county on the interstate
Cook was created by constitutional amendment in 1918, making it one of the last counties formed in Georgia, and it had 17,229 residents at the 2020 census against an estimated 18,232 in 2025. The checklist covers funds and timing before the first Tuesday.
Cook sits between Tift and Lowndes on I-75, both larger markets that run their own sale on the same first Tuesday. A south Georgia address near either line is easy to misattribute, so check the county on the parcel.
