Haralson County holds its foreclosure auction at the courthouse at 4485 GA Highway 120 in Buchanan, on the first Tuesday of every month. Do not go to the building on Courthouse Square: the 1891 courthouse stopped serving in 1972 and is now a museum. Buchanan is the county seat though Bremen is the largest city. The courthouse on the square is a museum
Haralson replaced its Queen Anne courthouse in 1972 with a modern building less than a mile away. The checklist sets out how payment is handled that morning.
